Terms of service
By placing an order with Eglinton Homemade Cakes, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Orders and Acceptance
All cake orders are confirmed only after full payment is received. Details such as design, size, flavour pickup date and time must be finalised upon confirmation.
No Return Policy
Due to the perishable nature of cakes, all sales are final. Once the cake has been picked up, it is considered acceptance in good condition and no returns or refunds will be provided.
Upon pickup, full responsibility for the cake transfer to the customer. This Includes proper handling, transportation, and storage. Please refer to our Cake Care Instructions for guidance.
Order Changes
- Requests to change the cake theme/design or pickup date and time must be made at least 7 days before the scheduled pickup date.
- All changes are subject to availability and approval.
Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations made at least 14 days (2 weeks) prior to the pickup date and time are eligible for refund.
- A 15% administrative fee will be deducted from the total paid amound.
- For cancellations made within 7 days (1 week), 50% of the total amount paid will be deducted.
- Cancellations made after 7 days of pickup date are non-refundable.
Customer Responsibility
Eglinton Homemade Cakes is not responsible for damaged caused after pickup, including but not limited to improper transport, storage, weather conditions, or mishandling.
Agreement
By placing the order, the customer acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
